- Asawir (أَسَاوِر): Bracelets or armlets worn as adornment.
- Tahur (طَهُور): Pure, clean, and free from any impurity or filth — both physically and spiritually.
Tafsir (Explanation):
Imagine, dear reader, the ultimate reward that awaits the righteous in Paradise — a scene of breathtaking beauty and perfection. Upon their bodies are garments of the finest green silk, soft and delicate, layered with rich, thick brocade that adds grandeur to their appearance. These are not ordinary clothes; they are the honor and dignity bestowed by the Almighty upon His beloved servants. Adorning their hands are bracelets of pure silver, gleaming with a radiance that reflects the light of Paradise itself. And above all this visual splendor, their Lord — the Most Merciful — gives them to drink a beverage that is absolutely pure and wholesome. Unlike the wines of this world, which can intoxicate, cloud the mind, and carry impurities, this drink is flawless — untouched by filth, unspoiled by any contamination, and free from every defect. It is a drink that cleanses the soul and brings complete joy without any harm.
This verse paints a vivid picture of the complete bliss that Allah has prepared for His righteous servants. The clothing covers them with honor, the jewelry beautifies them with dignity, and the drink fills them with pure delight. Every detail speaks of a perfection that this world can never fully replicate. Notice how Allah mentions that it is their *Lord* who gives them this drink — a personal touch of love and care from the Creator to His servants. This is not merely a reward; it is an expression of divine affection.
Da'wah Reflection:
Dear brother and sister in humanity, let this verse awaken in your heart a longing for what is truly valuable. The pleasures of this world are fleeting and often mixed with harm — but the rewards of the Hereafter are pure, eternal, and free from all defects. Allah, in His infinite mercy, has opened the door of Paradise to anyone who believes in Him and does righteous deeds. You do not need to be perfect; you only need to turn to Him sincerely. The very fact that He describes these rewards in such vivid detail is an invitation — a call to you to strive for a place where you will wear garments of honor, be adorned with dignity, and drink from a cup of pure contentment. Will you not answer His call today? The journey may seem long, but the destination is beyond imagination. Take the first step now — pray, seek His forgiveness, and walk the path that leads to this eternal bliss.
