- بِالْحَقِّ (bil-haqq): With the truth and absolute justice.
- الْمُسْتَعَانُ (al-musta'aan): The One whose help is sought; the Succorer.

Explanation of the Verse:
In this concluding verse of Surah Al-Anbiya, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is commanded to turn to his Lord in supplication, saying: *"My Lord, judge with truth."* This is a plea for Allah to settle the matter between him and his people who rejected his message — to decide with perfect justice and to bring about the decisive verdict that separates truth from falsehood. It is not a call for personal vengeance, but a dignified submission to Allah's wisdom and timing.
Then the Prophet adds: *"And our Lord is the Most Merciful, whose help is sought against what you describe."* Here, he declares that Allah — the Rahman, the Most Compassionate — is the One from whom help is sought against the false accusations, mockery, and fabrications of the disbelievers. They described the Prophet as a liar, a poet, or a madman; they attributed partners to Allah and denied His oneness. But the believer's ultimate refuge is in Allah's mercy and His sufficient aid.
This verse teaches us profound lessons:
- Patience in the face of falsehood — When the truth is rejected and ridiculed, the believer does not despair or resort to anger. Instead, he turns to Allah, the Perfect Judge, and leaves the outcome to Him.
- The power of du'a (supplication) — The Prophet's words are a model for every believer: when you are wronged or when falsehood seems to prevail, raise your hands and say, *"My Lord, judge with truth."* Allah hears and answers.
- Trust in Allah's mercy — The verse reminds us that Allah is *ar-Rahman*, the Most Merciful. His mercy encompasses everything, and His help is always near for those who sincerely seek it.
- A call to reflect — If the Prophet himself, the best of creation, relied on Allah's judgment and help, how much more do we need to do the same? Let this verse be a source of comfort and strength for every Muslim facing trials, knowing that the final word belongs to Allah alone — and His word is always truth and justice.
So, dear reader, when you face opposition or hardship in your path of faith, remember this beautiful supplication. Make it your own, and rest assured that the Most Merciful is always ready to help those who call upon Him with sincerity.
