Surah Ash-Shu'ara — Verse 67

Tafsir (Explanation):

The sea split apart by Allah’s command, allowing Musa and the believers to cross safely on dry land, while the waters closed over Pharaoh and his forces, drowning them utterly. This was not a mere coincidence or natural phenomenon—it was a decisive, awe-inspiring miracle that demonstrated Allah’s absolute power and the truthfulness of Musa’s message.

Yet, despite this overwhelming sign, the verse states: *"And most of them were not believers."* The majority of Pharaoh’s people, even after witnessing such a clear and undeniable proof, remained stubborn in their disbelief. Their hearts were sealed by arrogance, pride, and the love of worldly power. They chose to follow their tyrant leader rather than submit to the Creator of the heavens and the earth.
