Surah An-Naml — Verse 53

When the divine punishment descended upon them—a mighty blast that destroyed the wrongdoers—Allah made a clear distinction between the guilty and the righteous. He saved those who had true faith in their hearts and whose actions reflected that faith through mindfulness of Allah (taqwa). These were Prophet Salih himself and the believers who followed him, who had submitted to Allah, obeyed His commands, and avoided His prohibitions. Their salvation was not a matter of luck or chance; it was the direct result of their faith and their conscious effort to live in accordance with Allah's guidance. They were saved from the humiliation of that worldly punishment, and they were also saved from the greater punishment of the Hereafter.
