Translation — Tafsir

Word Meanings:

Their faces turned white (radiant with joy and honor).
The Mercy of Allah, which here refers to His Paradise.
They will abide forever, never to leave or perish.

Explanation of the Verse:

After describing the state of the wicked whose faces will turn black on the Day of Judgment, Allah now turns to the blessed ones. Those whose faces are radiant white—brightened by the light of faith, obedience, and the glad tidings they received—are the people of righteousness and devotion. Their destination is the vast Mercy of Allah, which is His Paradise, a place of eternal bliss and unending joy. They will dwell therein forever, never to be removed, never to taste death or sorrow. This whiteness of face is both a literal reality on that Day and a symbol of inner purity, peace, and the joy that fills their hearts as they are welcomed into everlasting reward.

This verse is a powerful reminder that the deeds of this life determine the radiance of the Hereafter. Those who purify their hearts through sincere faith, prayer, charity, and good character will be honored with faces shining like the moon, entering a paradise where every wish is fulfilled and every fear is erased. It is a promise from the Most Merciful, and His promise is true.

A Call to the Reader:

Dear believer, let this verse ignite hope in your heart! Every act of goodness you do—every prayer, every kind word, every struggle to please Allah—is planting a seed of light that will shine on your face on the Day you meet your Lord. Do not despair of Allah’s mercy, for His Paradise is vast and His forgiveness is greater than your sins. Strive today, with sincerity and love, so that when you stand before Him, your face will be white with honor, and you will hear the sweet call: “Enter Paradise, forever, in peace and joy!” What a beautiful ending for those who chose Allah in this fleeting world!

📜 Verse 105-109 — Aal-Imran

And do not be like the ones who became divided and differed after the clear proofs had come to them. And those will have a great punishment.
On the Day [some] faces will turn white and [some] faces will turn black. As for those whose faces turn black, [to them it will be said], "Did you disbelieve after your belief? Then taste the punishment for what you used to reject."
But as for those whose faces will turn white, [they will be] within the mercy of Allah. They will abide therein eternally.
These are the verses of Allah. We recite them to you, [O Muhammad], in truth; and Allah wants no injustice to the worlds.
To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And to Allah will [all] matters be returned.
