Explanation of the Verse:
These are the verses of Allah — His clear signs, decisive proofs, and luminous revelations — which He, the Most High, recites to you, O Prophet, with absolute truth and certainty. Every word carries the weight of reality; there is no falsehood in them, no exaggeration, and no deficiency. They convey the glad tidings of reward for the obedient and the solemn warnings of punishment for the disobedient, all in perfect balance and justice.
And Allah does not intend any injustice for His creation — not for a single soul among all the worlds. He does not punish anyone without cause, nor does He diminish anyone's deeds unjustly, nor does He hold anyone accountable for the sins of another. Rather, He is the Just Sovereign whose judgment is flawless. If He punishes, it is only due to what one's own hands have earned; and if He rewards, it is out of His boundless grace and mercy. He never takes anyone to task without guilt, and He never withholds what is rightfully due to His servants.
This verse is a profound reassurance for every believer: the system of Allah is built on justice, not oppression. Whatever trials befall you, know that they are either a consequence of your own actions or a means of elevation — never an act of divine cruelty. And whatever good reaches you, it is from His favour. So place your trust in Him, for His justice is perfect, His mercy is vast, and His promise is true.
A Call to Reflection and Action:
Dear reader, let this verse fill your heart with peace and hope. The Lord of the worlds — the One who created you, sustains you, and knows every hidden thought within you — has declared that He never wishes injustice upon anyone. So why fear? Why despair? Turn to Him with a sincere heart, for His doors of mercy are always open. He does not wrong you, but it is you who may wrong yourself by turning away from His guidance. Embrace His path, hold fast to His Book, and you will find a Lord who is ever just, ever kind, and ever near. This is the beauty of Islam: a relationship with a God who loves justice and showers mercy upon all who seek Him.
