Translation — Tafsir

Word Meanings:

  • Rizquna (رِزْقُنَا): Our provision or sustenance — that which Allah grants to His servants.
  • Nafad (نَّفَادٍ): Exhaustion, depletion, or coming to an end.

Tafsir (Explanation):

This verse comes as a glorious conclusion to the description of the bliss that awaits the righteous in Paradise. After Allah, the Most High, has detailed the delights prepared for His pious servants — gardens of eternity, flowing rivers, pure companions, and abundant fruits — He declares with absolute certainty: "Indeed, this is Our provision, which will never come to an end."

The meaning is profound and heart-stirring: every blessing you have heard about, every joy described in the preceding verses, is not a temporary gift or a fleeting pleasure. It is the very sustenance of Allah, granted out of His infinite mercy and boundless generosity. Unlike the provisions of this world — which diminish with use, spoil with time, or are cut off by death — this provision is eternal, everlasting, and ever-renewing. It knows no depletion, no interruption, and no final chapter.

This single verse carries a message of immense hope for the believer. It tells you, dear reader, that the struggles of this life are but a fleeting moment, and that what awaits you with your Lord is something no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart can imagine. The One who provides for every creature on earth — from the mightiest whale in the deep oceans to the smallest ant in the desert — promises you a provision that never runs out. Can there be any greater guarantee than the word of the Provider Himself?

Let this verse ignite in your heart a longing for that eternal home. Let it remind you that every act of patience, every moment of obedience, and every sacrifice you make for the sake of Allah is an investment in a treasure that will never diminish. The world with all its pleasures will one day fade, but the provision of the Hereafter is forever. So strive, O servant of Allah, for that which never ends, and let not the fleeting distractions of this world steal your share of the everlasting bliss.
