Translation — Tafsir

Key Words and Phrases:

  • Al-Haqq (بِالْحَقِّ): The truth, the absolute reality, and the true religion (Islam) that aligns with human nature and divine will.
  • Khayran lakum (خَيْرًا لَّكُمْ): Better for you; a promise of goodness, benefit, and success in this life and the Hereafter.
  • Alim (عَلِيمًا): All-Knowing; God’s knowledge encompasses every action, intention, and hidden thought.
  • Hakim (حَكِيمًا): All-Wise; God’s commands, decrees, and legislation are perfectly just, precise, and purposeful.

Tafsir (Explanation):

O humanity! The Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) has come to you with the ultimate truth from your Lord—a message of guidance, mercy, and salvation. This is not a call to blind obedience, but an invitation to what is genuinely good for you, both in your worldly life and in your eternal journey. So believe in him, follow his teachings, and embrace this faith, for your own benefit. Faith is not a favor you do for God; it is a treasure you secure for yourself.

If you choose to reject this message, know that your disbelief does not harm God in the least. He is the Sovereign of the heavens and the earth, and everything within them belongs to Him. Your rejection only deprives you of His mercy and guidance. God is completely self-sufficient, free of any need for your worship, yet He lovingly invites you to the path of success.

God is All-Knowing of your circumstances, your struggles, and your hearts. He knows who sincerely seeks the truth and who turns away out of arrogance. And He is All-Wise in His commands and His decrees—nothing He ordains is without purpose, and nothing He legislates is without benefit.

So reflect, dear reader: the entire universe—the vast skies above and the earth beneath you—submits to God’s will by nature. The sun rises and sets by His command, the stars follow their ordained paths, and every creature lives in submission to His design. Will you, with your intellect and free will, not submit to the One who created you and knows what is best for you? Let your heart respond to this call of truth, for it is a call to your own happiness, peace, and ultimate success. This is the mercy of your Lord reaching out to you—do not turn away from it.

📜 Verse 168-172 — An-Nisa

Indeed, those who disbelieve and commit wrong [or injustice] - never will Allah forgive them, nor will He guide them to a path.
Except the path of Hell; they will abide therein forever. And that, for Allah, is [always] easy.
O Mankind, the Messenger has come to you with the truth from your Lord, so believe; it is better for you. But if you disbelieve - then indeed, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth. And ever is Allah Knowing and Wise.
O People of the Scripture, do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.
Never would the Messiah disdain to be a servant of Allah, nor would the angels near [to Him]. And whoever disdains His worship and is arrogant - He will gather them to Himself all together.
