Translation — Tafsir
Word Meanings:
- Ansha'naahunna: We created them anew, brought them into existence with a fresh and perfect creation.
- Insha'an: A complete, unprecedented act of creation—unlike anything known in this worldly life.
Tafsir (Explanation):
In this profound verse, Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) declares that He has created the women of Paradise—the pure companions (Hoor al-'Ayn) and likewise the righteous women believers who enter Paradise—with a brand-new, magnificent creation that bears no resemblance to their former worldly state. This is not a mere renewal or restoration; it is an entirely original act of divine power, fashioned from the outset in a state of eternal perfection. They are created as perpetual virgins, untouched and ever-youthful, radiating love and devotion toward their husbands, all equal in age and beauty, free from the flaws, aging, and weariness that marked human existence in this world. This creation is immortal—it does not decay, weaken, or fade, for it is tailored for the everlasting bliss of the Hereafter. This verse is a direct address to the believers, especially the companions of the right hand (Ashab al-Yamin), promising them the ultimate reward of pure, loving companionship that transcends every earthly limitation.
A Da'wah Reflection:
Imagine a gift so perfect that it erases every sorrow of this life—a companion created solely for your joy, untouched by time, filled with endless affection, and united with you in eternal harmony. This is not a fantasy; it is the promise of the Most Merciful to those who strive in His path. When you read this verse, let your heart yearn for Paradise, not merely for its gardens and rivers, but for the pure love and peace that Allah has prepared for His righteous servants. Every act of patience, every prayer, every charity you offer in this fleeting world is a seed for an eternal harvest of delight. So, dear believer, hold fast to your faith, for the Creator who fashioned such perfection from nothing is the same Lord who hears your every supplication and rewards your every sincere deed. Let this promise ignite in you a burning desire to meet your Lord with a heart full of faith, so that you may taste the sweetness of a creation beyond imagination—a sweetness that begins the moment you step into the everlasting abode.
