Explanation of the Verse:

After Allah commanded His servant to look at the heavens and see if any cracks or imperfections exist, He now instructs him to repeat this gaze—once, twice, and again—scrutinizing the sky with the utmost precision and care. The believer is told to turn his sight back repeatedly, not merely glancing but deeply examining every corner of the celestial creation. Yet, no matter how many times the eye scans the heavens, it will always return to its owner khāsi’an—humbled, defeated, and abased—because it finds no flaw, no inconsistency, and no disorder in Allah’s perfect handiwork. The sight is also hasīr, meaning it becomes weary and exhausted from the sheer effort of searching for a defect that simply does not exist. This verse is a profound invitation to reflect on the flawless design of the universe, which points directly to the infinite wisdom and power of its Creator. It teaches the believer that the more one contemplates Allah’s creation, the more one is filled with awe, humility, and certainty in His perfection. This is not merely an intellectual exercise; it is a spiritual journey that strengthens faith, as the heart realizes that the One who created such harmony and balance is worthy of complete submission and worship. For the Muslim, this verse is a call to look beyond the superficial and to see the divine signature in every star, every galaxy, and every corner of the sky—a sign that leads to love, gratitude, and devotion to Allah, who has made everything in perfect measure.

📜 Verse 2-6 — Al-Mulk

[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving -
[And] who created seven heavens in layers. You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency. So return [your] vision [to the sky]; do you see any breaks?
Then return [your] vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued.
And We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with stars and have made [from] them what is thrown at the devils and have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze.
And for those who disbelieved in their Lord is the punishment of Hell, and wretched is the destination.
