Surah At-Tariq — Verse 3

After Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) swears by the heaven and the night-visitor, He then clarifies and magnifies the nature of this night-visitor, saying: *"It is the piercing star."* This is a star whose light is so powerful and radiant that it pierces through the veils of darkness, penetrating the night sky with its brilliant glow. Its light cuts through the blackness, making it visible to all who look up.
