Tafsir (Explanation):
O Messenger of Allah, and O believer who follows his guidance — say with your tongue and affirm with your heart: "All praise and perfect gratitude belong to Allah alone." He is the One who possesses every attribute of perfection and beauty. He is far above and completely free from taking a son or offspring, for He is the Self-Sufficient, the Eternal, the One who has no need of anyone or anything. He does not beget, nor is He begotten, and there is nothing comparable to Him.
He is also free from having any partner in His dominion and sovereignty. His kingdom is absolute and unmatched; no one shares His authority in the heavens or the earth, in this life or the Hereafter. His command is supreme, and His will is irresistible.
Furthermore, He has no protector or ally due to any weakness or humiliation — for He is the All-Powerful, the Almighty, who never suffers defeat or need. He does not seek support from His creation, for all of creation is in complete dependence upon Him. They are the weak and the needy, while He is the Rich, the Self-Sufficient, the Strong, and the Mighty.
So magnify Him with a tremendous magnification — declare His greatness in your prayers, in your daily life, in your supplications, and in your heart. Exalt Him above every imperfection, above every false description, and above every claim that diminishes His majesty. Do not attribute to Him a child, a partner, or a need for anyone's support. Rather, devote your worship, your love, your hope, and your fear entirely to Him alone.
This verse is a beautiful conclusion to Surah Al-Isra, teaching the believer to seal their recitation and their reflections with praise, purification of Allah's attributes, and magnification of His glory. It is a call to purify your faith (Tawheed) from all forms of shirk — whether in Allah's essence, His attributes, or His right to be worshipped alone.
Let this be your constant state: praising Allah for His perfection, affirming His oneness in His dominion, and magnifying Him in every moment. For when your heart is filled with the greatness of Allah, your worries become small, your trials become light, and your soul finds true peace. Indeed, in the remembrance and magnification of Allah do hearts find tranquility.
