Translation — Tafsir

Word Meanings:

Exalted and far above any imperfection or deficiency.
The Sovereign, the One who possesses absolute dominion and authority over all creation.
The Truth — His existence, His words, His promises, and His warnings are all true and certain.
The Throne — the greatest and most magnificent of all created things, described as noble and honored.

Tafsir (Explanation):

Exalted is Allah, the Sovereign King, the Truth! He is far above every imperfection, far removed from any notion of weakness, need, or injustice. He is the One whose dominion encompasses everything, and His every decree is true and just. His promise of reward is true, His warning of punishment is true, and everything that comes from Him is truth. He is utterly free from creating anything in vain or without purpose — the heavens, the earth, and everything within them were created with profound wisdom and meaning.

There is no deity worthy of worship except Him alone. He is the Lord of the Noble Throne — the greatest and most magnificent of all creations. And when the Lord of the greatest creation is your Lord, then He is the Lord of all things, great and small. Nothing escapes His knowledge, His power, or His dominion.

This verse comes as a powerful conclusion to the discussion of creation and resurrection, reminding us that Allah did not create us for amusement or play. Rather, He created us for a serious purpose — to know Him, worship Him, and be held accountable for our deeds. The One who sits upon the Throne of His majesty is fully capable of bringing the dead back to life, of rewarding the righteous, and of punishing the wicked.

So let this truth settle in your heart: you are never forgotten, never abandoned, and never outside the care of the King who owns everything. Your life has meaning, your existence has purpose, and your return to Him is certain. How beautiful it is to live under the sovereignty of a King who is Truth itself — whose promise never fails, whose justice never falters, and whose mercy encompasses all things. Turn to Him, trust in Him, and find peace in knowing that the One who holds the Throne of the universe also holds your affairs in His hands.

📜 Verse 114-118 — Al-Mu'minun

He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known.
Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?"
So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne.
And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed.
And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful."
