Surah Al-Mu'minun — Verse 41

Allah made them like *ghuthaa’*—the dry, broken twigs and foam carried along by a raging flood, tossed aside and forgotten. They became lifeless debris, devoid of any value or benefit, a sight that strikes the heart with awe.

Then comes the divine pronouncement: *“So away with the wrongdoing people!”* This is both a statement of what befell them and a perpetual curse against all who follow their path.
