Surah Ash-Shu'ara — Verse 115

Tafsir (Explanation):

In this verse, Prophet Noah (peace be upon him) responds to his people who demanded that he drive away the poor and weak believers so that the wealthy and influential would accept his message. He declares firmly: "I am not but a clear warner." This means that his role is not to judge people by their social status, wealth, or lineage, nor to act as a gatekeeper deciding who is worthy of faith. His sole mission is to deliver the divine warning — to call people to worship Allah alone and to caution them against the consequences of disbelief and sin.

The Prophet's message is universal: it addresses the noble and the humble, the rich and the poor alike. He does not possess the authority to expel sincere believers, for that would contradict the justice and mercy of Allah. His duty is only to make the truth clear, and whoever accepts it does so for their own salvation, while whoever rejects it bears the burden of their choice.

This verse carries a timeless lesson for all believers: the criterion of honor in Islam is not wealth or status, but faith and righteousness. A true caller to Allah never abandons the weak, for they are often the most sincere in their devotion.
