Surah Ar-Rum — Verse 60

O Messenger of Allah, endure with patience the harm, mockery, and denial that your people inflict upon you. Do not let their rejection weigh heavily on your heart, for the promise of Allah to you is an absolute truth — He has pledged to grant you victory, to establish His religion, and to reward you abundantly in this life and the next. This promise is not subject to doubt or delay; it will be fulfilled exactly as Allah has decreed, for He never breaks His word.

And beware — do not let those who lack certainty in the Resurrection and the Day of Judgment provoke you into haste or cause you to abandon your patient perseverance. These are people whose hearts are void of true faith; they do not believe in the meeting with their Lord, nor do they trust in His justice and recompense. Their words and actions are driven by doubt and short-sightedness, so do not let their mockery or their attempts to unsettle you push you toward impatience or despair.

Instead, hold firm to your conviction. Know that every trial you face is a means of elevating your rank and drawing you closer to Allah. The path of truth has always been paved with hardship, but the end is always glorious for those who remain steadfast. Let your heart be anchored in the certainty that Allah sees your struggle, hears your prayers, and will never forsake you. The disbelievers may laugh today, but the final victory belongs to the believers — and that is a promise that no power on earth can overturn.

So take comfort, dear believer, in the words of your Lord. Patience is not weakness; it is the strength of those who know that Allah's timing is perfect. And when the promise of Allah manifests — and it surely will — you will see that every moment of perseverance was worth more than all the fleeting pleasures of this world. Stand firm, trust in your Lord, and let your heart be at peace, for the Hereafter is the true life, and the reward of the patient is beyond measure.
