Surah Luqman — Verse 5

Rather, they are upon clear guidance from their Lord — a light that illuminates their path, a compass that directs their steps, and a certainty that steadies their hearts. This guidance is a gift from Allah Himself, the Most Merciful, who does not leave His sincere servants without direction.

And then comes the glorious promise: "And it is they who are the successful ones." True success (al-falāḥ) in the Quranic context means complete victory — attaining everything good in this life and the next, and being saved from everything harmful. It is not merely worldly achievement, but the ultimate triumph of standing before Allah on the Day of Judgment with a heart at peace, entering His Paradise, and receiving His eternal pleasure.
