Word Meanings:
- "Those" (Ula'ika): Refers to the sincere, devoted servants of Allah mentioned in the preceding verses—those who purify their faith and actions solely for Him.
- "Provision" (Rizq): Sustenance, bounty, and all that Allah grants to His servants—here, specifically the delights of Paradise.
- "Known/Determined" (Ma'lum): Fixed, specified, and guaranteed—not random or uncertain, but precisely ordained by Allah's wisdom.
Explanation of the Verse:
This verse brings glad tidings to the sincere servants of Allah—those who have purified their worship and devoted themselves entirely to Him. For them, Allah has prepared a provision that is *known* and *assured*. This is not the fleeting, uncertain sustenance of this world, but a bounty that is:
- Continuous and unending—it never ceases, diminishes, or runs out.
- Perfect in quality—its taste, beauty, and goodness are beyond anything the human mind can imagine.
- Timely and structured—as described in the divine revelation, it is presented to them morning and evening, a rhythm of delight that fills their days in Paradise.
This "known provision" encompasses all the joys of the Hereafter: delicious foods and drinks, exquisite companions, and every pleasure that brings peace and happiness to the soul. It is a reward that reflects the sincerity of their devotion—just as they were constant and faithful in their worship, so too is their reward constant and faithful to them.
A Call to Reflection and Action:
Dear reader, pause and reflect on this beautiful promise! Allah, the Most Merciful, does not leave His sincere servants without reward. He has prepared for them a provision that is *known*—meaning it is guaranteed by His word and His justice. No good deed is ever lost, and no sincere intention is ever forgotten.
This verse invites you to ask yourself: *Am I among those sincere servants?* The path is open to everyone. Purify your heart, dedicate your actions to Allah alone, and strive in His way. Then, rest assured that this "known provision" awaits you—a life of eternal bliss where every moment is filled with divine generosity.
Let this promise fill your heart with hope and your steps with purpose. For the One who has made this promise is the Most Truthful, and His promise is never broken.
