Explanation of the Verse:
On the Day of Judgment, when the final chapter of human history unfolds, you—O Prophet—will witness a scene of unparalleled majesty and awe. The angels, in their countless multitudes, will be arranged in circles around the Throne of the Most Merciful, surrounding it from every direction. They will not be silent; rather, their voices will rise in continuous glorification, declaring their Lord free from every imperfection, and praising Him with gratitude for His infinite wisdom and justice.
At that very moment, the divine decree will have been fully executed. Allah, the Just, will have settled all matters between His creatures with perfect fairness—no soul will be wronged in the least. The believers, who worshipped Him in faith and righteousness, will be admitted into the everlasting bliss of Paradise, while those who rejected His signs and persisted in disbelief will face the consequences of their choices in Hellfire. This is the culmination of divine justice, where every deed, whether great or small, finds its due recompense.
Then, as the gates of Paradise open for the righteous and the reality of Allah’s promise becomes manifest, the believers will utter a single, unified declaration: "All praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of all worlds." This is not merely a statement of thanks—it is the natural outpouring of hearts that have witnessed the fulfillment of Allah’s promise, the triumph of truth over falsehood, and the perfection of His justice. It is a praise born of gratitude for His mercy, and a praise born of awe for His wisdom.
A Call to Reflection and Action:
Dear reader, imagine that moment—the moment when every soul sees the outcome of its journey. The angels surrounding the Throne, the scales of justice balanced, and the eternal destiny of every being sealed. This scene is not a distant fantasy; it is a certainty that awaits us all. Let this verse awaken in your heart a profound awareness of Allah’s majesty and justice. Let it inspire you to live a life of faith, gratitude, and righteousness, so that on that Day, you may be among those who join the angels in glorifying their Lord, and among those who utter the words of eternal praise: "Al-hamdu lillahi Rabbil-‘alameen."
The Qur’an does not leave us in darkness about our end—it illuminates the path clearly. The choice is yours: to be among the encircling angels in praise, or to be among those who face the consequences of neglect. Turn to your Lord now, with a sincere heart, and let every breath you take be a step toward that eternal success. For indeed, the promise of Allah is true, and His justice is perfect, and His mercy is vast enough to embrace all who seek it.
