Word Meanings:

- Akbar – Greater, more magnificent, and more immense in scale and power.
- Khalaq al-nas – The creation of human beings, including their initial creation and their resurrection after death.
- La ya‘lamun – They do not know or comprehend, due to heedlessness and following desires.
Explanation of the Verse:
Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) draws our attention to a profound truth: the creation of the heavens and the earth—with their vastness, their celestial bodies, their mountains, seas, and intricate systems—is far greater and more awe-inspiring than the creation of human beings. The One who brought into existence these colossal universes without any prior example, and who sustains them with perfect order, is certainly able to do something far easier: to recreate human beings after their death and raise them anew for judgment and recompense. If He can create the greater, then the lesser is within His power with even greater ease.
Yet, despite the clarity of this evidence, most people—especially those who deny the Hereafter—do not realize this obvious fact. Their hearts are veiled by heedlessness, and their minds are clouded by desires and arrogance, so they fail to reflect on the signs around them. They see the heavens and the earth every day, yet they do not let this sight lead them to the certainty of resurrection and the meeting with their Lord.
A Call to Reflection and Faith:
Dear reader, pause and look at the sky above you—its vastness, its stars, its planets moving in perfect harmony. Look at the earth beneath you—its mountains, its oceans, its living creatures. All of this did not come into being by chance; it was created by the Almighty, the All-Powerful. And the same Power that spoke "Be" and the universe was, is fully capable of bringing you back to life after your bones have crumbled to dust. So let your heart awaken, let your mind reflect, and let this magnificent creation be a bridge to faith in your Lord and in the Day when you will stand before Him. Do not be among those who "do not know"—for knowledge here is not merely information, but a living certainty that transforms the heart and guides the soul to submission and worship. Embrace this truth, and you will find peace in this life and success in the next.
