Surah Al-Qiyamah — Verse 15

On the Day of Judgment, every human being will be a clear witness against themselves. Their own limbs, senses, and deeds will testify to what they did in this worldly life—nothing will remain hidden. Even if a person tries to present every possible excuse, weaving elaborate justifications to defend their wrongdoing and claim they committed no evil, such excuses will be utterly rejected. No plea, no matter how cleverly constructed, will save them from the consequences of their actions. The truth of their deeds will be laid bare, and their own testimony will condemn them.

This verse serves as a profound reminder that we cannot deceive Allah, nor can we deceive ourselves. On that Day, the reality of our intentions and actions will be exposed, and every attempt to shift blame or fabricate excuses will fail.
