Explanation of the Verse:
O Prophet, remember the time when the disbelievers of Quraysh gathered in the House of Consultation (Dār al-Nadwah) in Makkah, conspiring against you. After the Ansār of Madinah had pledged their support to you, the leaders of Quraysh feared your growing influence and met to decide your fate. They debated three evil options: to imprison you in a house and shackle you, to kill you with their swords, or to expel you from your beloved city of Makkah. They plotted and schemed, thinking they could extinguish the light of truth. But Allah — in His infinite wisdom and power — was also planning, and His plan is the most perfect and decisive. He turned their wicked scheme back upon them, protecting you from their harm and paving the way for the victory of Islam. Indeed, Allah is the Best of Planners, for His plan is always just, wise, and unstoppable, while the plots of His enemies are doomed to fail.
A Da‘wah Reflection:
This verse is a profound source of comfort and reassurance for every believer who faces hostility or conspiracy. It teaches us that no matter how powerful or cunning the enemies of truth may appear, their schemes are nothing before the might of Allah. The Prophet ﷺ walked out of Makkah unharmed while the assassins surrounded his bed — a living proof that Allah’s protection transcends all human plots. So, dear reader, when you see the forces of falsehood uniting against Islam and its people, do not despair. Trust in Allah, hold firm to your faith, and know that His promise is true. The same Allah who saved His Prophet from the swords of Quraysh is alive and watching over His servants today. He turns every evil plan into a means of raising the believers higher, and every conspiracy into a stepping stone for the spread of His religion. Let this verse fill your heart with courage, your mind with certainty, and your soul with the beautiful hope that victory always belongs to the righteous.
