Surah 'Abasa — Verse 39

Tafsir (Explanation):

This verse describes the faces of the blessed believers on the Day of Resurrection. After mentioning the dark, dust-covered faces of the disbelievers and sinners, Allah contrasts them with the radiant faces of the righteous. These faces are laughing and rejoicing — a reflection of the profound joy and inner peace they feel upon receiving the mercy and honor of their Lord. Their laughter is not mere amusement; it is the natural expression of a heart overwhelmed with gratitude and delight at the reward that awaits them. They are filled with gladness because they have attained what they hoped for — the eternal bliss of Paradise and the pleasure of Allah Almighty.
