Surah Al-Baqarah — Verse 138

This religion is not something foreign or burdensome; rather, it is the very nature that aligns with the human soul, its innate longing for truth, justice, and purpose. Just as a garment takes on the color of the dye it is immersed in, so too does the believer's heart, speech, and conduct become colored by the light of faith, manifesting in every aspect of life.

Allah then poses a profound rhetorical question: "And who is better than Allah in religion?" The answer is self-evident — no one. There is no creed, no philosophy, no man-made system that can rival the perfection of Allah's religion. His religion is the only one that is completely in harmony with human nature, bringing benefit to the individual and society while warding off corruption and harm. It purifies the soul, uplifts the spirit, and guides humanity to success in this world and the Hereafter.

The verse concludes with the believer's declaration: "And we are His worshippers."
