Tafsir (Explanation):

After Musa (Moses, peace be upon him) witnessed the miraculous transformation of his staff into a moving serpent, Allah addressed him with a direct and reassuring command: "Throw it down, O Musa." This was not merely an instruction to discard an object; it was a divine test and a lesson in trust. Allah commanded Musa to cast aside his natural fear and hesitation, and to obey without doubt. The staff, which had been a simple tool for shepherding and daily tasks, was now to become an instrument of divine power. By commanding Musa to throw it, Allah was preparing him for the greater mission ahead—facing Pharaoh and his sorcerers. The command also carried a profound spiritual meaning: when a believer submits fully to Allah's will, even the most ordinary objects and abilities are transformed into sources of strength and miracles. Musa's obedience at this moment was a demonstration of his complete reliance on his Lord, and it set the stage for the extraordinary signs that would follow.

So, dear believer, when Allah calls you to action—whether it is prayer, patience, or standing for truth—respond with the same spirit of Musa: "I hear and I obey." For in that obedience lies the key to miracles in your own life.
