Surah Al-Furqan — Verse 15

O Messenger, say to those who mock the promise of punishment: "Is that Fire, which has just been described to you — with its scorching heat, its boiling drinks, and its chains — better, or the Everlasting Garden that has been promised to the God-conscious?" This Garden is not a fleeting pleasure; it is eternal, its rivers never run dry, its fruits never cease, and its joy never fades. Allah has prepared it for those who feared Him in this world — those who guarded their tongues, their eyes, and their hearts from what displeases Him. It is their reward for their patience, their prayer, their charity, and their struggle against their own desires. And it is their final destination, the place where they will settle forever, never to be removed, never to be disturbed.

A Call to Reflection:

Dear reader, pause for a moment and compare the two ends. On one side, a fire whose fuel is men and stones, where the sinner cries out for relief but finds none. On the other side, a garden beneath which rivers flow, where the righteous dwell in peace, surrounded by the mercy of their Lord. Is this comparison not enough to awaken the heart? Allah, in His infinite mercy, has placed this choice before you. He does not force you — He invites you. He tells you that the path of taqwa leads to eternal bliss, and the path of heedlessness leads to regret. So which will you choose? The wise one chooses the everlasting over the fleeting, the eternal over the temporary. Let this verse be a turning point — a moment where you decide, with sincerity, to walk with the muttaqun, so that you may inherit the Garden of Eternity and taste a joy that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has ever imagined.
