Key Words and Their Meanings:

  • "Bil-Haqq" (بِالْحَقِّ): With truth, justice, and a sound, purposeful objective — not in vain or as a mere play.
  • "Ayah" (آيَةً): A clear sign, evidence, or proof that points to the Creator's power and wisdom.

The Explanation of the Verse:

Allah — the Almighty — created the heavens and the earth with truth, justice, and a profound, purposeful design. He did not create them in vain, nor as a meaningless amusement, but rather with a wise and righteous objective: that they might serve as a dwelling place for His servants and as a living testament to His majesty.

In this magnificent creation — the vast expanse of the heavens above, the solid earth beneath, and everything within them — there is a clear and undeniable sign for the believers. They are the ones who look upon the universe with the eyes of their hearts, reflecting on its perfect order, its breathtaking precision, and its harmonious balance. Through this reflection, they come to recognize the greatness of their Creator, His absolute power, and His unique right to be worshipped alone.

The believers are singled out here because they are the ones who truly benefit from these signs. They do not merely pass by the mountains, the oceans, the stars, and the skies as if they were ordinary sights; rather, they see in every corner of creation a message from their Lord. Each sunrise and sunset, each drop of rain, each living creature — all of it speaks to them of Allah's wisdom, mercy, and might.

As for those who disbelieve, they may see the same universe, yet their hearts remain blind. The signs pass before their eyes without leaving any impression, because they have closed the doors of reflection and turned away from the truth.

A Call to Reflection and Faith:

Dear reader, pause for a moment and look around you. Contemplate the sky above — who raised it without pillars? Look at the earth beneath your feet — who spread it out as a resting place? Consider your own body — the beating of your heart, the breath in your lungs, the wonder of your very existence. Are these not signs enough?

The One who created all of this with such perfection is worthy of your love, your gratitude, and your worship. He did not create this universe for no purpose, and He did not create you for no purpose either. Open your heart to His signs, and you will find that every atom in existence is calling you to your Creator. This is the path of the believers — the path of reflection, certainty, and peace. Walk it, and you will find the ultimate success in this life and the Hereafter.

📜 Verse 42-46 — Al-'Ankabut

Indeed, Allah knows whatever thing they call upon other than Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
And these examples We present to the people, but none will understand them except those of knowledge.
Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth. Indeed in that is a sign for the believers.
Recite, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do.
And do not argue with the People of the Scripture except in a way that is best, except for those who commit injustice among them, and say, "We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you. And our God and your God is one; and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him."
