Key Words and Phrases:

It will not be decreed that they die, so they may find rest. The phrase means they will not be granted death as an escape.
And the torment of the Fire will not be lightened for them in any way, not for a moment, nor in any degree.
An extreme, persistent disbeliever; one who is deeply ungrateful and obstinate in rejecting the truth, and who denies the countless blessings of Allah.

Explanation of the Verse:

This verse paints a vivid and sobering picture of the fate that awaits those who choose disbelief and stubbornly reject the truth. For them, there is the blazing Fire of Hell — a reality that is not merely a threat, but a certain consequence of their own choices.

In this Fire, their suffering is absolute and unending. They will not be granted the mercy of death, for death would be an escape from their torment. Instead, they remain in a state of perpetual agony, fully conscious, fully aware, with no hope of relief. The punishment is never lightened — not by a single degree, not for a single second. There is no pause, no respite, no cooling of the flames, and no moment of peace.

This is the divine justice of Allah, the Most Just. He does not wrong anyone, but those who persist in disbelief and ingratitude — who see the signs of their Lord and still turn away, who receive His countless blessings and still deny Him — are repaid with what their hearts and deeds have earned. The word "كَفُور" emphasizes the extreme nature of this ingratitude: it is not a simple lapse, but a deliberate, continuous, and hardened rejection of the truth.

A Call to Reflection and Action:

Dear reader, let this verse awaken your heart. Allah, in His infinite mercy, has not left us without warning. He has sent messengers, revealed scriptures, and placed countless signs in the universe and within ourselves — all pointing to His existence, His oneness, and His perfect justice. The path of faith is open to every soul, and the door of repentance remains wide open until the very last moment of life.

Do not let the fleeting pleasures of this world deceive you. The Fire is real, and its torment is beyond our imagination. But equally real is the Paradise that awaits those who believe, do good deeds, and turn to their Lord with sincerity. Allah's mercy is vast, and His love for His servants is greater than we can comprehend. He does not wish for anyone to perish; rather, He invites all to His forgiveness and eternal bliss.

So, take this warning as a gift. Turn to Allah today, before it is too late. Say, "My Lord, I have wronged myself, so forgive me and have mercy upon me." Indeed, Allah is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful, and He rejoices when His servant returns to Him. Do not delay, for tomorrow is not guaranteed. The choice is yours — and the reward for those who choose faith is nothing less than eternal happiness in the presence of their Lord.

📜 Verse 34-38 — Fatir

And they will say, "Praise to Allah, who has removed from us [all] sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative -
He who has settled us in the home of duration out of His bounty. There touches us not in it any fatigue, and there touches us not in it weariness [of mind]."
And for those who disbelieve will be the fire of Hell. [Death] is not decreed for them so they may die, nor will its torment be lightened for them. Thus do we recompense every ungrateful one.
And they will cry out therein, "Our Lord, remove us; we will do righteousness - other than what we were doing!" But did We not grant you life enough for whoever would remember therein to remember, and the warner had come to you? So taste [the punishment], for there is not for the wrongdoers any helper.
Indeed, Allah is Knower of the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and earth. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.
