Surah Al-Qiyamah — Verse 12

Tafsir (Explanation):

O human being, you who seeks to flee from the truth and run away from the reckoning — know that there is no escape, no refuge, and no hiding place on that Day. The verse addresses the Prophet ﷺ directly, but its message is universal: on the Day of Resurrection, the final destination of all creation is your Lord alone. Every soul, whether believer or disbeliever, obedient or rebellious, will return to Allah — the sole Judge and Sovereign. There is no other court, no other authority, and no other refuge. All paths lead to Him, and every matter ends before His throne of justice.

This is a profound reminder that the entire journey of this worldly life — with all its distractions, ambitions, and fleeting pleasures — culminates in a single, inevitable return to our Creator. The One who created us from nothing will gather us once more, and He alone will settle all accounts with perfect justice and wisdom. No intercessor will avail without His permission, and no excuse will shield the guilty.
