Translation — Tafsir
Word Meanings:
- Al-Lawh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet): The heavenly record in which Allah has written all that will happen until the Day of Judgment.
- Yaseer (Easy): Simple and effortless for Allah, requiring no exertion or difficulty.
Tafsir (Interpretation):
Have you not known, O noble Prophet, that Allah’s knowledge encompasses everything in the heavens and the earth? Nothing—whether hidden in the depths of the earth or soaring in the highest heavens—escapes His awareness. Not a single leaf falls, not a secret is whispered, not a thought crosses a heart, except that He knows it completely. This comprehensive knowledge is not a recent acquisition or a momentary awareness; rather, it has been eternally recorded in the Preserved Tablet, where every event, every detail, and every outcome is inscribed with perfect precision. And all of this—the recording, the knowledge, and the execution of His decree—is utterly easy for Allah. He does not grow weary, He does not struggle, and nothing is too great or too small for His power.
This verse serves as a profound reminder that the One who knows all things is the One who manages all affairs. When you realize that your Lord is fully aware of every trial you face, every tear you shed, and every prayer you whisper, your heart finds tranquility. He knows your struggles before you even articulate them, and He has already written the solution in His eternal book. So place your trust in Him, for the One who knows everything and for whom everything is easy is more than capable of granting you relief, guidance, and victory. Let this certainty fill your heart with hope and your soul with peace, for you are never alone—your Lord sees, knows, and cares.
