Surah Al-Qasas — Verse 81

At that moment of utter destruction, Qarun had no group of supporters, no army, no allies, and no wealth to protect him. None of those he had relied upon—his followers, his guards, or his riches—could shield him from Allah’s decree. The verse emphasizes that anything people turn to for protection besides Allah is utterly powerless. Furthermore, Qarun was not among those who could save themselves by their own strength or cunning. He could not escape, resist, or defend himself against the divine punishment that overwhelmed him. His fate was sealed, and his downfall was complete.
