Surah As-Saffat — Verse 114

• "Manannā" (مَنَنَّا): We bestowed Our favor and grace.

• "Hārūn" (هَارُونَ): Prophet Aaron, his brother, peace be upon them both.

Explanation of the Verse:

In this noble verse, Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) declares that He conferred a great favor and blessing upon His two noble prophets, Moses and Aaron (peace be upon them). This divine favor was the gift of prophethood and the sacred message — an honor that elevated them above all the people of their time. Through this blessing, Allah chose them to carry His revelation, to guide their people out of darkness into light, and to stand firm against the tyranny of Pharaoh.

This favor was not limited to the honor of prophethood alone; it also encompassed Allah's protection and deliverance. He saved them and the Children of Israel from the oppression of Pharaoh, from the humiliation of servitude, and from the peril of the sea when the waters parted by Allah's command.
