Surah Al-Mu'minun — Verse 105

On the Day of Judgment, as the disbelievers are cast into the Fire, they will be addressed with a rebuke that cuts to the very core of their guilt: "Were not My verses recited to you, and yet you used to deny them?" This is not a question seeking information, but a rhetorical reproach—a piercing reminder of the truth they heard and rejected. The verses of the Qur'an were not hidden from them; they were recited openly, clearly, and repeatedly. The messengers delivered them, the scholars conveyed them, and the words reached their ears. Yet, instead of reflecting, accepting, and submitting, they chose to mock, dismiss, and label them as falsehood. This verse serves as a stark awakening: the evidence was presented, the proof was established, and the choice to reject was entirely their own. There is no excuse on that Day, for ignorance was never their plight—arrogance was.

The same words that will be a witness for the believers will be a witness against the deniers. Today, you have the chance to respond with faith, to say, "I believe, and I bear witness that this is the truth from my Lord." Do not wait until the Day when the question is asked and no answer can change your fate. Embrace the Qur'an now, let it guide your steps, and let it be your intercessor on the Day you stand before your Creator. The door of repentance is open, and the mercy of Allah is vast—so hasten to it before the door closes forever.
