Surah Al-Mu'minun — Verse 82

Will we be resurrected for a new existence?" They said this not as a genuine question seeking truth, but as a mockery and rejection of the very idea of resurrection. They deemed it impossible and beyond all reason, as if the One who created them from nothing in the first place could not possibly recreate them after death.

Yet, ponder this, dear reader: Is it harder to create something from nothing, or to bring it back after it has returned to its original elements? The One who originated the heavens and the earth, who brought life from lifeless matter the first time — is He not capable of doing it again? Indeed, His power knows no limits, and His wisdom demands that there be a day of reckoning, where every soul is justly rewarded for its deeds.

This verse invites us to reflect on the greatest truth of our existence: that this worldly life is not the end. The disbelievers of old found it impossible to imagine resurrection, yet the same sun rises and sets each day, the same earth brings forth life after rain, and the same Creator who fashioned you in your mother's womb has promised to bring you back.
