Surah Az-Zumar — Verse 62

Tafsir (Explanation):

This verse stands as a magnificent declaration of Allah’s absolute sovereignty and Oneness. Allah — and He alone — is the Creator of every single thing that exists, whether seen or unseen, known or unknown. There is no other creator besides Him; nothing comes into being except by His will and His power. He is the Lord, the Owner, and the Disposer of all creation.

And He is, over all things, a *Wakīl* — the Guardian who watches over everything, the Trustee who manages the affairs of His creation with perfect wisdom and justice. He sustains, protects, and orchestrates every detail of existence. Nothing escapes His knowledge, and nothing happens in this universe except under His complete control and care.

This verse is a profound call to *Tawḥīd* (the Oneness of Allah). When you realise that Allah is the Creator of everything, your heart naturally turns to Him alone for help, guidance, and provision. When you know that He is the *Wakīl* over all things, you find peace in entrusting your affairs to Him, for He is the Most Capable, the Most Trustworthy.

Dear reader, reflect on this truth: the same Allah who created the heavens and the earth, who fashioned you in the womb and gave you life, is the One who is watching over you right now. He knows your struggles, your hopes, and your fears. He is managing your affairs in ways you cannot perceive. So place your trust in Him, rely on Him, and turn to Him in all matters — for He is the Creator, the Guardian, and the Best of all Trustees.
