Surah Al-Qamar — Verse 5

Yet, despite this perfection of guidance, the question arises with a tone of rebuke and sorrow: what benefit can any warnings bring to a people who have turned away in arrogance and denied the truth? Warnings only benefit those whose hearts are open to reflection and who seek the truth sincerely. As for those who have hardened their hearts and rejected faith in God and the Last Day, no amount of admonition can penetrate their stubbornness. The wisdom is complete, but the rejection is their own choice—and therein lies the tragedy.
