Explanation of the Verse:

In this blessed verse, Allah Almighty announces the most beautiful news to His believing servants who have emigrated and striven in His cause: their Lord Himself gives them glad tidings of three magnificent gifts. First, His vast mercy that embraces them, wiping away their sins and shortcomings, and surrounding them with His infinite compassion. Second, His divine pleasure (Ridwan) – a state in which Allah is fully content with them, and they shall never face His displeasure or anger again. This is the greatest of all blessings, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) taught that Allah will say to the people of Paradise: "I have granted you My pleasure, and I will never be angry with you after this." Third, they are promised Gardens of Paradise, where they will enjoy perpetual, unending bliss – rivers flowing, fruits abundant, and comforts beyond imagination, all in a state of eternal joy that never ceases or fades.

This verse is a direct, personal address from the Lord of the Worlds to His righteous servants, showing His immense love and care for them. It transforms their struggles and sacrifices in this world into a source of eternal happiness in the Hereafter. The glad tidings come directly from Allah Himself, not through any intermediary, which highlights the honor and closeness these believers enjoy with their Creator.

A Da’wah Reflection for the Reader:

Dear reader, imagine the moment when the Creator of the heavens and the earth – the One who holds everything in His hands – personally sends you a message of good news, promising you His mercy, His pleasure, and an eternal home of bliss. This is not a distant hope; it is a certain promise from the Most Truthful, Who never breaks His word. The path to this joy is simple: sincere faith, righteous deeds, and love for Allah and His Messenger. Every step you take toward Allah in this life – every prayer, every act of kindness, every struggle against your own desires – is a step toward this everlasting happiness. Do not let the fleeting pleasures of this world deceive you, for they vanish like a shadow, while the bliss Allah has prepared for His believers is permanent and beyond measure. Open your heart to this glad tiding today, and let it motivate you to draw closer to your Lord, for His mercy is vast, and His gates of forgiveness are always open.

📜 Verse 19-23 — At-Tawbah

Have you made the providing of water for the pilgrim and the maintenance of al-Masjid al-Haram equal to [the deeds of] one who believes in Allah and the Last Day and strives in the cause of Allah? They are not equal in the sight of Allah. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
The ones who have believed, emigrated and striven in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives are greater in rank in the sight of Allah. And it is those who are the attainers [of success].
Their Lord gives them good tidings of mercy from Him and approval and of gardens for them wherein is enduring pleasure.
[They will be] abiding therein forever. Indeed, Allah has with Him a great reward.
O you who have believed, do not take your fathers or your brothers as allies if they have preferred disbelief over belief. And whoever does so among you - then it is those who are the wrongdoers.
