أَلَا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاءَ اللَّهِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ ۝٦٢

Translation — Tafsir

Word Meanings:

Awliyaa' Allah (أَوْلِيَاءَ اللَّهِ): The close friends and allies of Allah; those who love Allah and are loved by Him through their sincere faith, obedience, and devotion.
Khawf (خَوْفٌ): Fear of future harm or punishment.
Huzn (حُزْن): Grief or sadness over something lost or missed.

Tafsir (Explanation):

Behold! Allah, the Most Merciful, declares a profound and comforting truth: His sincere allies—those who draw near to Him through unwavering faith, righteous deeds, and heartfelt devotion—shall have no fear concerning what lies ahead, nor shall they grieve over what has passed.

In the Hereafter, they will not dread the terrors of the Day of Judgment, the reckoning, or the scales of deeds, for their Lord has promised them His pardon and His paradise. Neither will they sorrow over the fleeting pleasures and worldly gains they may have missed or lost in this life, for they have traded the temporary for the eternal, and their ultimate reward far surpasses anything this world could offer.

These allies are not defined by titles, lineage, or outward claims, but by their sincere love for Allah, their steadfast obedience to His commands, and their avoidance of what He has forbidden. In return, Allah honors them with His protection, guidance, and the ultimate bliss of His nearness—a station where fear and grief are utterly abolished.

A Call to the Reader:

O beloved seeker of truth! This verse is a radiant beacon of hope for every soul that yearns for peace. It whispers to your heart: draw closer to your Creator through sincere worship, and He will grant you a tranquility that no worldly storm can shake. The promise is sealed—no fear, no grief—for those who make Allah their ally. So, turn to Him today, and let your heart find its rest in His remembrance, for He is the Most Loving, the Most Kind, and His promise is true.

📜 Verse 60-64 — Yunus

60وَمَا ظَنُّ الَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ

And what will be the supposition of those who invent falsehood about Allah on the Day of Resurrection? Indeed, Allah is full of bounty to the people, but most of them are not grateful."

61وَمَا تَكُونُ فِي شَأْنٍ وَمَا تَتْلُو مِنْهُ مِن قُرْآنٍ وَلَا تَعْمَلُونَ مِنْ عَمَلٍ إِلَّا كُنَّا عَلَيْكُمْ شُهُودًا إِذْ تُفِيضُونَ فِيهِ ۚ وَمَا يَعْزُبُ عَن رَّبِّكَ مِن مِّثْقَالِ ذَرَّةٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَلَا أَصْغَرَ مِن ذَٰلِكَ وَلَا أَكْبَرَ إِلَّا فِي كِتَابٍ مُّبِينٍ

And, [O Muhammad], you are not [engaged] in any matter or recite any of the Qur'an and you [people] do not do any deed except that We are witness over you when you are involved in it. And not absent from your Lord is any [part] of an atom's weight within the earth or within the heaven or [anything] smaller than that or greater but that it is in a clear register.

62أَلَا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاءَ اللَّهِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

Unquestionably, [for] the allies of Allah there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve

63الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَكَانُوا يَتَّقُونَ

Those who believed and were fearing Allah

64لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَىٰ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ ۚ لَا تَبْدِيلَ لِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ

For them are good tidings in the worldly life and in the Hereafter. No change is there in the words of Allah. That is what is the great attainment.
