Surah Maryam — Verse 61

Tafsir (Explanation):

These are the Gardens of Everlasting Stay — the eternal abode of bliss and tranquility — which the Most Merciful (Ar-Rahman) has promised to His righteous servants who believe in the unseen. They have not seen these gardens with their own eyes, nor have they witnessed their delights, yet they affirm their existence with unwavering faith and certainty. They trust the promise of their Lord without any visual proof, and this is the essence of true īmān — believing in what Allah has promised even though it lies beyond the veil of the unseen.

Indeed, the promise of Allah is certain to arrive. It is not a mere hope or a distant possibility — it is an absolute reality that will inevitably come to pass. Just as the sun rises each morning without fail, the promise of Allah for His believing servants is guaranteed. There is no doubt, no delay, and no alteration in His word. The gardens of 'Adn await those who strive, who repent, and who hold firm to their faith in the unseen.

Dear believer, contemplate this profound truth: you are being promised a reward you cannot see, in a place you have never visited, with delights no eye has witnessed, no ear has heard, and no human heart has ever conceived. Yet you believe — and that belief alone is your greatest treasure. This is the beauty of faith: it transforms the unseen into the most certain reality of your life. When you pray in the darkness of the night, when you give charity in secret, when you struggle against your desires for the sake of Allah — know that every single act is being recorded for a garden whose magnificence surpasses everything this world has to offer. So hold firm, dear servant of Ar-Rahman. Your Lord's promise is coming — and it is closer than you think. Let this certainty fill your heart with peace, your soul with hope, and your life with purpose. For the One who promised you Paradise is the One who never breaks His word.
