Surah Ash-Shu'ara — Verse 146

They were living in lush gardens with flowing springs, fertile farmland, and date palms bearing ripe, sweet fruit. They had carved magnificent homes into the mountains with remarkable skill, living in luxury and pride. Yet, they had forgotten the One who granted them all of this, and they had become arrogant and heedless.

The deeper message here is that no matter how abundant the blessings, this world is temporary and fleeting. Every soul shall taste death, and every blessing will eventually come to an end.
