Surah As-Sajdah — Verse 23

Tafsir (Explanation):

Indeed, We gave Musa (Moses, peace be upon him) the Book — the Torah — just as We have given you, O Messenger, the Qur'an. So do not be in any doubt about your meeting with Musa on the night of the Isra' and Mi'raj (the Prophet's night journey and ascension), for that meeting truly took place. And We made the Torah a guidance for the Children of Israel, leading them out of darkness and error toward the truth and the straight path.

This verse serves as a profound reassurance to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and to every believer: the divine revelation given to him is not an isolated event but part of a continuous chain of prophethood. Just as Allah honored Musa with the Torah, He honored Muhammad with the Qur'an — the final and most complete scripture.
