- Yukhlifuhu (يُخْلِفُهُ): He will replace it, compensate it, or give something in return.

Tafsir (Explanation):
O Messenger, say to those who are deceived by their wealth and children, and who believe that abundance is a sign of honor and scarcity a sign of humiliation: "Indeed, my Lord expands the provision for whom He wills among His servants, and He restricts it for whom He wills." This is not random or unjust—it is based on His perfect wisdom, which knows what is best for each servant. Sometimes abundance is a test of gratitude, and sometimes restriction is a test of patience. Neither abundance nor scarcity is a measure of Allah's love or anger; rather, it is a divine arrangement suited to each soul's circumstances.
And then comes the glorious promise: "Whatever you spend of anything—in charity, in good deeds, in supporting your family, or in the path of Allah—He will replace it." This is a guarantee from the Lord of the Worlds. If you give in this world, He compensates you in this world with something better, or with contentment of the heart—which is a treasure that never diminishes—and in the Hereafter with immense reward that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart can imagine.
So do not fear poverty when you give. Do not hold back your wealth thinking you will lose it. The One who owns the heavens and the earth, the One who feeds every creature from the smallest ant to the mightiest whale, is the One who promises to replace what you spend. And He is the Best of Providers—far better than any earthly provider. When people say "the king provides for his soldiers" or "so-and-so provides for his family," they mean he gives them something. But Allah is the Best of Givers: His giving is never exhausted, His treasures never deplete, and His rewards are beyond measure.
So seek your provision from Him alone, and strive in the causes He has commanded you. Spend generously, for the hand that gives is never made poor by giving—rather, it is opened to receive more. And know with certainty that whatever you part with for His sake, He will return to you multiplied, in this life and in the next. This is the promise of the Most Generous, the Best of Providers.
