Translation — Tafsir

Word Meanings:

And did not differentiate between any of them (i.e., they did not believe in some messengers while rejecting others).
Their rewards (full recompense for their faith and deeds).
Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Tafsir (Explanation):

This verse shines as a beacon of guidance for all who seek the straight path. Allah, the Exalted, describes the true believers—those who have sincere faith in His absolute Oneness, without any partner or associate, and who believe in all of His messengers without exception. They do not follow the misguided approach of those who accept some prophets and reject others, nor do they elevate one above another in a way that contradicts divine revelation. Instead, they honor every messenger as a truthful servant of Allah, sent with the same core message of monotheism and submission.

For such believers, Allah promises a magnificent outcome: He will grant them their full rewards, multiplied by His boundless generosity. Their faith, coupled with righteous deeds, will not be lost or diminished. And to remove any fear or despair from their hearts, Allah concludes with His beautiful attributes: He is *Ghafoor* (Oft-Forgiving), covering their shortcomings and sins with His pardon, and *Raheem* (Most Merciful), showering them with His compassion and grace.

This verse carries a profound lesson for humanity: the path to Allah’s pleasure is not through partial belief or selective obedience, but through complete and unwavering submission to Him and His messengers. When you embrace this holistic faith, you open the door to divine mercy and rewards beyond your imagination. Let this be an invitation to every soul—no matter your past, no matter your mistakes—to turn to Allah with a sincere heart. His forgiveness is vast, and His mercy encompasses all who believe and do good. The doors of His bounty are never closed to those who knock with faith and hope.

📜 Verse 150-154 — An-Nisa

Indeed, those who disbelieve in Allah and His messengers and wish to discriminate between Allah and His messengers and say, "We believe in some and disbelieve in others," and wish to adopt a way in between -
Those are the disbelievers, truly. And We have prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating punishment.
But they who believe in Allah and His messengers and do not discriminate between any of them - to those He is going to give their rewards. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
The People of the Scripture ask you to bring down to them a book from the heaven. But they had asked of Moses [even] greater than that and said, "Show us Allah outright," so the thunderbolt struck them for their wrongdoing. Then they took the calf [for worship] after clear evidences had come to them, and We pardoned that. And We gave Moses a clear authority.
And We raised over them the mount for [refusal of] their covenant; and We said to them, "Enter the gate bowing humbly", and We said to them, "Do not transgress on the sabbath", and We took from them a solemn covenant.
