After Dhul-Qarnayn built the formidable barrier of iron and molten copper to contain Gog and Magog (Ya'juj and Ma'juj), Allah describes the outcome of their desperate attempts to overcome it. Nor could they penetrate it from below, for it was too solid and thick to be breached.
