Surah An-Nisa — Verse 132

• وَكِيلًا (Wakeelan): A Guardian, Trustee, Disposer of affairs, One who manages and protects the affairs of His servants.

Explanation of the Verse:

To Allah alone belongs everything that exists in the heavens and everything that exists on the earth—the angels, the planets, the stars, the mountains, the oceans, the animals, the plants, and all of creation. Nothing lies outside His dominion, and no being shares even an atom's weight of His sovereignty. He is the sole Owner, Creator, and Sustainer of all that is.

And sufficient is Allah as a Guardian and Trustee. This means that He alone is fully capable of managing the affairs of His creation, protecting them, and providing for them. When you place your trust in Him, you have placed it in the One who never fails, who never abandons, and whose wisdom encompasses everything. He is the One who takes charge of your affairs with perfect knowledge and absolute power.

When you face difficulties, when you feel alone, when your plans fail, remember that your Wakeel—your Trustee—is the Lord of the universe. Turn to Him in prayer, rely on Him in every matter, and you will find a peace that no worldly support can ever provide. This is the beauty of Islam: it frees you from the anxiety of depending on creation and connects you to the infinite power of the Creator. So trust in Him, and let your heart be at ease, for indeed, Allah is sufficient for those who put their trust in Him.
