Surah As-Saffat — Verse 104

Word Meanings:

• "وَنَادَيْنَاهُ" (And We called out to him): Allah, may He be exalted, addressed Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) directly, at the most critical and intense moment of his trial.

Explanation of the Verse:

At that precise instant, when the knife was at the throat and the trial had reached its absolute peak, Allah's mercy intervened. The Almighty called out to His beloved Prophet: "O Ibrahim!"
