Surah Adh-Dhariyat — Verse 8

Explanation of the Verse:

Allah, the Exalted, swears by the heaven that possesses beautiful and perfect creation, affirming that the disbelievers of Makkah—and all those who reject the truth—are indeed entrenched in contradictory and inconsistent speech regarding the Qur'an and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

At times, they claim the Qur'an is magic; at other times, they call it poetry. Sometimes they label the Prophet a sorcerer, and other times a poet. They waver between affirming him and denying him, never settling on a single, consistent position. This inconsistency is a clear sign of their confusion and the absence of any firm foundation for their rejection.

Whoever is turned away from the Qur'an and the Messenger is turned away because of their own deliberate neglect of Allah's clear proofs and undeniable evidences. They close their eyes to the light of guidance, and thus they are deprived of attaining what is good and true.

The path of guidance is smooth and straight for those who seek it sincerely. Do not let the confusion of others turn you away from the light that shines brightly for all who are willing to see. Embrace the truth, and you will find peace, certainty, and success in this life and the Hereafter.
