|
﴿هَلۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَأۡتِيَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِي ظُلَلٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡغَمَامِ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَقُضِيَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرۡجَعُ ٱلۡأُمُورُ ﴾ [Al-Baqarah: 210]
(210) Do they await but that Allah should come to them in covers of clouds and the angels [as well] and the matter is [then] decided? And to Allah [all] matters are returned.

|
﴿وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ وَيَوۡمَ يَقُولُ كُن فَيَكُونُۚ قَوۡلُهُ ٱلۡحَقُّۚ وَلَهُ ٱلۡمُلۡكُ يَوۡمَ يُنفَخُ فِي ٱلصُّورِۚ عَٰلِمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٱلۡخَبِيرُ ﴾ [Al-An‘ām: 73]
(73) And it is He who created the heavens and earth in truth. And the day He says, "Be," and it is, His word is the truth. And His is the dominion [on] the Day the Horn is blown. [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed; and He is the Wise, the Acquainted.

﴿هَلۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن تَأۡتِيَهُمُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ أَوۡ يَأۡتِيَ رَبُّكَ أَوۡ يَأۡتِيَ بَعۡضُ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّكَۗ يَوۡمَ يَأۡتِي بَعۡضُ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّكَ لَا يَنفَعُ نَفۡسًا إِيمَٰنُهَا لَمۡ تَكُنۡ ءَامَنَتۡ مِن قَبۡلُ أَوۡ كَسَبَتۡ فِيٓ إِيمَٰنِهَا خَيۡرٗاۗ قُلِ ٱنتَظِرُوٓاْ إِنَّا مُنتَظِرُونَ ﴾ [Al-An‘ām: 158]
(158) Do they [then] wait for anything except that the angels should come to them or your Lord should come or that there come some of the signs of your Lord? The Day that some of the signs of your Lord will come no soul will benefit from its faith as long as it had not believed before or had earned through its faith some good. Say, "Wait. Indeed, we [also] are waiting."

﴿
وَعُرِضُواْ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ صَفّٗا لَّقَدۡ جِئۡتُمُونَا كَمَا خَلَقۡنَٰكُمۡ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةِۭۚ بَلۡ زَعَمۡتُمۡ أَلَّن نَّجۡعَلَ لَكُم مَّوۡعِدٗا * وَوُضِعَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ فَتَرَى ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ مُشۡفِقِينَ مِمَّا فِيهِ وَيَقُولُونَ يَٰوَيۡلَتَنَا مَالِ هَٰذَا ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَا يُغَادِرُ صَغِيرَةٗ وَلَا كَبِيرَةً إِلَّآ أَحۡصَىٰهَاۚ وَوَجَدُواْ مَا عَمِلُواْ حَاضِرٗاۗ وَلَا يَظۡلِمُ رَبُّكَ أَحَدٗا ﴾ [Al-Kahf: 48-49]
(48) And they will be presented before your Lord in rows, [and He will say], "You have certainly come to Us just as We created you the first time. But you claimed that We would never make for you an appointment." (49) And the record [of deeds] will be placed [open], and you will see the criminals fearful of that within it, and they will say, "Oh, woe to us! What is this book that leaves nothing small or great except that it has enumerated it?" And they will find what they did present [before them]. And your Lord does injustice to no one.

|
(100) And We will present Hell that Day to the Disbelievers, on display -
|
|
﴿
وَيَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡجِبَالِ فَقُلۡ يَنسِفُهَا رَبِّي نَسۡفٗا * فَيَذَرُهَا قَاعٗا صَفۡصَفٗا * لَّا تَرَىٰ فِيهَا عِوَجٗا وَلَآ أَمۡتٗا ﴾ [Ṭā-Hā: 105-107]
(105) And they ask you about the mountains, so say, "My Lord will blow them away with a blast. (106) And He will leave the earth a level plain; (107) You will not see therein a depression or an elevation."

|
﴿حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فُتِحَتۡ يَأۡجُوجُ وَمَأۡجُوجُ وَهُم مِّن كُلِّ حَدَبٖ يَنسِلُونَ ﴾ [Al-Anbiyā’: 96]
(96) Until when [the dam of] Gog and Magog has been opened and they, from every elevation, descend
|
|
﴿يَوۡمَ نَطۡوِي ٱلسَّمَآءَ كَطَيِّ ٱلسِّجِلِّ لِلۡكُتُبِۚ كَمَا بَدَأۡنَآ أَوَّلَ خَلۡقٖ نُّعِيدُهُۥۚ وَعۡدًا عَلَيۡنَآۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا فَٰعِلِينَ ﴾ [Al-Anbiyā’: 104]
(104) The Day when We will fold the heaven like the folding of a [written] sheet for the records. As We began the first creation, We will repeat it. [That is] a promise binding upon Us. Indeed, We will do it.

|
﴿۞ وَإِذَا وَقَعَ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ أَخۡرَجۡنَا لَهُمۡ دَآبَّةٗ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ تُكَلِّمُهُمۡ أَنَّ ٱلنَّاسَ كَانُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا لَا يُوقِنُونَ ﴾ [An-Naml: 82]
(82) And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith].

|
﴿
وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذۡ فَزِعُواْ فَلَا فَوۡتَ وَأُخِذُواْ مِن مَّكَانٖ قَرِيبٖ * وَقَالُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ ٱلتَّنَاوُشُ مِن مَّكَانِۭ بَعِيدٖ * وَقَدۡ كَفَرُواْ بِهِۦ مِن قَبۡلُۖ وَيَقۡذِفُونَ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ مِن مَّكَانِۭ بَعِيدٖ * وَحِيلَ بَيۡنَهُمۡ وَبَيۡنَ مَا يَشۡتَهُونَ كَمَا فُعِلَ بِأَشۡيَاعِهِم مِّن قَبۡلُۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ فِي شَكّٖ مُّرِيبِۭ ﴾ [Saba’: 51-54]
(51) And if you could see when they are terrified but there is no escape, and they will be seized from a place nearby. (52) And they will [then] say, "We believe in it!" But how for them will be the taking [of faith] from a place far away? (53) And they had already disbelieved in it before and would assault the unseen from a place far away. (54) And prevention will be placed between them and what they desire, as was done with their kind before. Indeed, they were in disquieting denial.

|
﴿
فَٱرۡتَقِبۡ يَوۡمَ تَأۡتِي ٱلسَّمَآءُ بِدُخَانٖ مُّبِينٖ * يَغۡشَى ٱلنَّاسَۖ هَٰذَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ ﴾ [Ad-Dukhān: 10-11]
(10) Then watch for the Day when the sky will bring a visible smoke. (11) Covering the people; this is a painful torment.

|
(20) And the Horn will be blown. That is the Day of [carrying out] the threat.
|
|
﴿
وَٱسۡتَمِعۡ يَوۡمَ يُنَادِ ٱلۡمُنَادِ مِن مَّكَانٖ قَرِيبٖ * يَوۡمَ يَسۡمَعُونَ ٱلصَّيۡحَةَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ ذَٰلِكَ يَوۡمُ ٱلۡخُرُوجِ ﴾ [Qāf: 41-42]
(41) And listen on the Day when the Caller will call out from a place that is near - (42) The Day they will hear the blast [of the Horn] in truth. That is the Day of Emergence [from the graves].

|
(9) On the Day the heaven will sway with circular motion (10) And the mountains will pass on, departing -
|
|
(1) The Hour has come near, and the moon has split [in two].
|
|
(37) And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil -
|
|
﴿
إِذَا رُجَّتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ رَجّٗا * وَبُسَّتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ بَسّٗا * فَكَانَتۡ هَبَآءٗ مُّنۢبَثّٗا ﴾ [Al-Wāqi‘ah: 4-6]
(4) When the earth is shaken with convulsion (5) And the mountains are broken down, crumbling (6) And become dust dispersing.

|
﴿
فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِي ٱلصُّورِ نَفۡخَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ * وَحُمِلَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَٱلۡجِبَالُ فَدُكَّتَا دَكَّةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ * فَيَوۡمَئِذٖ وَقَعَتِ ٱلۡوَاقِعَةُ * وَٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَهِيَ يَوۡمَئِذٖ وَاهِيَةٞ * وَٱلۡمَلَكُ عَلَىٰٓ أَرۡجَآئِهَاۚ وَيَحۡمِلُ عَرۡشَ رَبِّكَ فَوۡقَهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ ثَمَٰنِيَةٞ ﴾ [Al-Ḥāqqah: 13-17]
(13) Then when the Horn is blown with one blast (14) And the earth and the mountains are lifted and leveled with one blow - (15) Then on that Day, the Resurrection will occur, (16) And the heaven will split [open], for that Day it is infirm. (17) And the angels are at its edges. And there will bear the Throne of your Lord above them, that Day, eight [of them].

|
(8) On the Day the sky will be like murky oil, (9) And the mountains will be like wool,
|
|
﴿يَوۡمَ تَرۡجُفُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَٱلۡجِبَالُ وَكَانَتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَثِيبٗا مَّهِيلًا ﴾ [Al-Muzzammil: 14]
(14) On the Day the earth and the mountains will convulse and the mountains will become a heap of sand pouring down.
|
|
(8) And when the trumpet is blown,
|
|
﴿
فَإِذَا بَرِقَ ٱلۡبَصَرُ * وَخَسَفَ ٱلۡقَمَرُ * وَجُمِعَ ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ ﴾ [Al-Qiyāmah: 7-9]
(7) So when vision is dazzled (8) And the moon darkens (9) And the sun and the moon are joined,
|
|
﴿
فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتۡ * وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتۡ * وَإِذَا ٱلۡجِبَالُ نُسِفَتۡ * وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتۡ ﴾ [Al-Mursalāt: 8-11]
(8) So when the stars are obliterated (9) And when the heaven is opened (10) And when the mountains are blown away (11) And when the messengers' time has come...
|
|
﴿
يَوۡمَ يُنفَخُ فِي ٱلصُّورِ فَتَأۡتُونَ أَفۡوَاجٗا * وَفُتِحَتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ أَبۡوَٰبٗا * وَسُيِّرَتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ فَكَانَتۡ سَرَابًا ﴾ [An-Naba’: 18-20]
(18) The Day the Horn is blown and you will come forth in multitudes (19) And the heaven is opened and will become gateways (20) And the mountains are removed and will be [but] a mirage.
|
|
(6) On the Day the blast [of the Horn] will convulse [creation], (7) There will follow it the subsequent [one].
|
|
﴿
إِذَا ٱلشَّمۡسُ كُوِّرَتۡ * وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتۡ * وَإِذَا ٱلۡجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتۡ * وَإِذَا ٱلۡعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتۡ * وَإِذَا ٱلۡوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتۡ * وَإِذَا ٱلۡبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتۡ * وَإِذَا ٱلنُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتۡ ﴾ [At-Takwīr: 1-7]
(1) When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness] (2) And when the stars fall, dispersing, (3) And when the mountains are removed (4) And when full-term she-camels are neglected (5) And when the wild beasts are gathered (6) And when the seas are filled with flame (7) And when the souls are paired

|
﴿
وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ كُشِطَتۡ * وَإِذَا ٱلۡجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتۡ * وَإِذَا ٱلۡجَنَّةُ أُزۡلِفَتۡ ﴾ [At-Takwīr: 11-13]
(11) And when the sky is stripped away (12) And when Hellfire is set ablaze (13) And when Paradise is brought near,
|
|
﴿
إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنفَطَرَتۡ * وَإِذَا ٱلۡكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتۡ * وَإِذَا ٱلۡبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتۡ ﴾ [Al-Infiṭār: 1-3]
(1) When the sky breaks apart (2) And when the stars fall, scattering, (3) And when the seas are erupted
|
|
﴿
إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنشَقَّتۡ * وَأَذِنَتۡ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتۡ * وَإِذَا ٱلۡأَرۡضُ مُدَّتۡ * وَأَلۡقَتۡ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتۡ * وَأَذِنَتۡ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتۡ ﴾ [Al-Inshiqāq: 1-5]
(1) When the sky has split [open] (2) And has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so] (3) And when the earth has been extended (4) And has cast out that within it and relinquished [it] (5) And has responded to its Lord and was obligated [to do so] -
|
|
(21) No! When the earth has been leveled - pounded and crushed -
|
|
﴿
إِذَا زُلۡزِلَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ زِلۡزَالَهَا * وَأَخۡرَجَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ أَثۡقَالَهَا * وَقَالَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا * يَوۡمَئِذٖ تُحَدِّثُ أَخۡبَارَهَا * بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوۡحَىٰ لَهَا ﴾ [Az-Zalzalah: 1-5]
(1) When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake (2) And the earth discharges its burdens (3) And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - (4) That Day, it will report its news (5) Because your Lord has commanded it.
